Endlessly adrift

It has been quite some time. You find yourself gently bobbing up and down the silken surface of a vast expanse of glowing water. The horizon offers no harbour yet your first reflex of panic has quickly given in to relaxed and calm introspection as the warm liquid rocks you to sleep. The stacking clouds shimmer in the evening sunlight and the water glitters peacefully like a million stars.
